Linode Akamai United States Washington Shared CPU Cloud Hosting Test and Review
For our evaluation this round, we are analyzing the performance of the Linode Akamai VPS Server in Washington, United States. An AMD EPYC 7713 64-core Processor endorses this server and provisions 2 CPU Cores, 4 GB RAM, and 80 GB SSD Storage. It has a robust 4 Gbps Internet port and a generous 4 TB traffic. Additionally, it is allocated one each of IPv4 and IPv6 addresses.
Our rigorous testing regimen measures a spectrum of essential performance indicators. Firstly, we will employ the Basic Benchmark, Yabs, and Unix Benchmark, pivotal tests focusing on essential performance criteria. Secondly, through the Global Node Test, we will conduct an in-depth examination of network performance. Further, latency, a critical aspect of user experience, will be assessed using the Global Ping Test.
Moreover, we evaluate regional accessibility using the Media Unlock Test. To gauge the quality of the connection, we employ the CloudFlare Internet Test. Lastly, our web performance analysis utilizes tools like PageSpeed Insights and GTmetrix Performance, yielding a comprehensive performance profile.
