Conclusion
The I/O speed tests showed impressive growth, hitting an average of 1570.1 MB/s across three tries. When it came to checking how fast it could read and write data using different sizes of data blocks, the Fio Disk Speed tests revealed amazing numbers. For every size of the data block we tested, the reading and writing speeds were almost the same, reaching up to 10.86 GB/s for the biggest blocks.
Additionally, the server’s connection speeds differed depending on the location, with North Holland boasting the fastest speed of over 1.9 Gbits/sec for uploading and downloading data. Even though the speed dropped over longer distances, the connections stayed stable during all tests.
The Geekbench 6 Benchmark test gave us solid scores for single-core and multi-core performances, 1373 and 2530, respectively. The UnixBench tests, which look into more varied performance areas, also gave top scores, especially for the test ‘File Copy 4096 bufsize 8000 max blocks’, which scored high – 3321.6 for single CPU setups and 5702.2 for double CPU setups.
Wrapping up, the Kamatera Toronto Type A Availability Shared VPS server shines as a powerful and dependable choice, especially with its core specs and performance scores. It shows great strength in I/O speed and UnixBench ratings, promising outstanding overall performance to meet different needs. The consistent improvement across tests indicates the system’s good reaction to more work. So, this server is a fantastic pick for anyone looking for top-notch performance and the ability to handle growth.
