With the power to discontinue your VM at will via the control panel, you only pay for the operational hours. This interactive control panel allows users to specify a URL for a custom ISO image or a qcow2 template. Once downloaded, new VMs can be provisioned using the custom operating system. OS installation can be accomplished using VNC with ISO images. Moreover, the control panel lets you capture the live state of your VM via snapshots, which can be used to restore the VM to a previous state or create additional machines.
The LunaNode control panel is equipped with various management tools such as SSH key injection, startup scripts, a state-of-the-art web console, and a rescue mode, all intended to simplify your VM management tasks. Conclusion
The server’s speed for handling data (I/O Speed) is impressive. It averaged speeds of 152.4 MB/s across three tests, showing it can quickly move a lot of data. It also had excellent upload and download speeds, with top marks in speed tests from places like Los Angeles, Dallas, and Montreal.
When we looked at how fast the server can read and write data to its storage (disk speeds), it proved very efficient across different sizes of data blocks. For example, it could read and write at speeds of about 254 MB/s for small pieces of data (4k block size) and around 1.7 GB/s for larger chunks (512k block size).
In tests measuring the server’s overall power (Geekbench 6 Benchmark), it scored high numbers that show it’s very powerful, both for tasks that use one core (970) and for those that use multiple cores (2828).
