We’ve tested the Leafcloud Netherlands North Brabant cc1.medium Cloud Instance. This server sports an Intel Xeon E312xx (Sandy Bridge, with an IBRS update) Processor, supported by 2 CPU Cores, armed with 4 GB RAM and 20 GB SSD Storage. The offering also includes 100 GB/mo of free traffic and one IPv4 and one IPv6.
Value machines at the core
Instance flavors with less RAM are good for compute-heavy workloads. These instances will run at our core infrastructure site and have the highest single-instance availability but less energy-saving potential.
Our rigorous examination entails a battery of demanding tests: We’ll kick things off with the Basic Benchmark, Yabs, and Unix Benchmark, allowing us to measure pivotal performance metrics. Moving onwards, the comprehensive Global Node Test will provide an extensive network landscape, while the Global Ping Test stands ready to gauge latency intricacies.
