Conclusion
To assess the server’s I/O performance, we ran three tests. The results were as follows – the first run yielded 369 MB/s, the second demonstrated an improvement at 614 MB/s, and the third round achieved a speed of 575 MB/s. The average I/O speed amounted to 519.3 MB/s, signifying the consistent high performance of the server.
Investigating further into network performance, numerous tests were conducted at different nodes globally. Among the most remarkable, we observed an upload speed of 104.48 Mbps and a download speed of 100.92 Mbps at the Singapore node, while the server demonstrated 102.87 Mbps upload and 100.66 Mbps download speeds at the Tokyo node. Other tested locations also showed substantial speeds with marginal latency.
Delving into the disk speed with regard to mixed read/write tests, the server performed impressively. At a block size of 4k, we observed a read speed of 229.97 MB/s and a write speed of 230.58 MB/s. As block sizes increased, speeds escalated correspondingly, peaking at 3.14 GB/s total at the 1m block size.
Lastly, we executed the Geekbench 6 Benchmark Test, resulting in a Single Core score of 1192 and a Multi Core score of 2104. All these tests conducted on the LightNode Russia Moscow Shared vCPU VPS Server were finished within a span of approximately 17 minutes and 36 seconds.
