99Stack Netherlands Amsterdam Intel Xeon Processor Standard VPS Test and Review
We recently tested the 99Stack Netherlands Amsterdam shared vCPU VPS Server, powered by an Intel Xeon Processor (Skylake, IBRS). This server, equipped with 4 CPU Cores, 8 GB RAM, a 160 GB SSD, and 20 TB traffic, seems well-suited for web applications and development.
99Stack provides enterprise-grade infrastructure at a significantly lower cost compared to those offered by big tech clouds. They offer public cloud instances and resources that can be deployed with hourly billing, allowing customers to pay only for what they use.

Conclusion
We measured the I/O speed, which averaged 329.3 MB/s over three runs. This speed exceeds the 300 MB/s threshold but still falls short of the highest performance range. However, it should still be sufficient for most typical web hosting needs.
Next, we assessed the server’s upload and download capabilities across various global nodes. Notably, it hit impressive speeds with 4057.39 Mbps upload and 7077.75 Mbps download in Amsterdam, reinforcing the server’s excellent connectivity in its home region. Speeds in other major cities like Los Angeles, Paris, and Hong Kong also demonstrated robust network performance, though the latency varied depending on the distance from the server’s location.
Our Yabs (Yet Another Benchmark Script) performance test further painted a picture of the server’s disk performance. In mixed read and write tests, the server achieved total speeds up to 427.98 MB/s for larger block sizes. These figures are solid, indicating reliable disk performance suitable for various applications.
Lastly, we evaluated the CPU using the Geekbench 6 benchmark. The server scored 845 in the Single Core test and 1516 in the Multi-Core test, placing it in the standard performance category for single-core tasks and the good performance bracket for multicore processing. This indicates that the server can handle moderate to heavy multi-threaded workloads efficiently.
In conclusion, the 99Stack Netherlands Amsterdam shared vCPU VPS Server delivers a balanced performance with solid I/O speeds, excellent regional network connectivity, and dependable CPU power. It is well-suited for most web hosting and development needs, providing reliable performance across various metrics.
