Hetzner Singapore AMD EPYC™ Shared vCPU Flexible Cloud VPS Test and Review
We recently tested the Hetzner Singapore Shared vCPU Flexible Cloud Server (Plan: CPX11), which features an AMD EPYC Processor, 2 CPU cores, 2 GB RAM, 40 GB NVMe SSD storage, and a 1 Gbps internet port. The server also includes 1 TB of traffic and both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses.
Our review covered several tests: Basic Benchmark, Yabs, and Unix Benchmark for performance, Global Node Test for network speed across locations, and Global Ping Test for latency. We also checked media accessibility with The Media Unlock Test, connection quality with the CloudFlare Internet Test, and web performance using PageSpeed Insights and GTmetrix.

Conclusion
In our Basic Benchmark, the server’s I/O speed impressed us with an average of 2013.9 MB/s, which is excellent. Upload and download speeds were also noteworthy, particularly in Singapore, which reached 16866.86 Mbps for uploads and 6428.81 Mbps for downloads. These results indicate strong network performance, especially in the Asia-Pacific region.
The Yabs Performance Bench showed solid disk speeds, with mixed read/write operations reaching 6.04 GB/s. This performance suggests the server can handle demanding tasks with ease. The Geekbench 4 test gave a single-core score of 6882 and a multi-core score of 12405, both good, indicating robust processing power.
The UnixBench results further confirmed the server’s capabilities. With a System Benchmarks Index Score of 2169.7, it performed exceptionally well in multiple areas, including file copy and shell script execution. These scores reflect a reliable and efficient server suitable for various applications.
