Genesis Cloud Iceland Reykjavík AMD EPYC On-demand Instance Test and Review
We recently tested the Genesis Cloud Iceland Reykjavík high-performance on-demand server. It runs on an AMD EPYC Processor with IBPB and features 2 CPU cores, 4 GB RAM, 80 GB SSD storage, a 1 Gbps internet port, and one IPv4 address.

Conclusion
In our Basic Benchmark tests, the server’s I/O speed averaged 680.3 MB/s, which is good. Upload and download speeds vary by location, with Amsterdam showing impressive results at over 1 Gbps for both. However, speeds were significantly lower in Chongqing, indicating potential network limitations in certain areas.
The Yabs performance test showed solid disk speeds, with mixed read/write performance reaching 1.21 GB/s for larger block sizes. This indicates excellent I/O performance and is suitable for demanding applications. The Geekbench 6 test scored 1120 for single-core and 1584 for multi-core, reflecting good processing power.
UnixBench results highlighted strong CPU performance, with a System Benchmarks Index Score of 2283.6 when running tests in parallel. This suggests the server can handle multiple tasks efficiently, making it a reliable choice for high-performance needs.
