We recently tested the UpCloud United States San Jose General Purpose Cloud Server (Plan: €26.00). The server is powered by an AMD EPYC 7542 32-core Processor, with the following configuration: 2 Cores CPU/4 GB RAM/80 GB SSD Storage/1 Gbps Internet Port/1x IPv4 and 1x IPv6 Address.

Conclusion
Our I/O speed tests showed an average of 369.3 MB/s, which is decent but not exceptional. The server performed well in network speed tests, with impressive upload and download speeds in most locations. However, connections to Asian locations, like Chongqing and Singapore, were significantly slower.
The Geekbench 6 Benchmark revealed a single-core score of 1191 and a multi-core score of 2095. These scores indicate good performance, especially for a server in this price range. The UnixBench tests also showed solid results, with a System Benchmarks Index Score of 1622.8 for single-core and 2087.9 for multi-core operations.
In conclusion, UpCloud’s San Jose server offers good overall performance for its price point. It excels in CPU performance and network speeds in most locations.
