We recently tested the MVPS Ireland Dublin High-Performance Cloud KVM VPS Server (Plan: NVME BASIC). The server features an Intel Xeon Gold 6148 CPU @ 2.40GHz with 2 CPU Cores, 4 GB RAM, 50 GB SSD Storage, 150 Mbps Internet Port, 5 TB Data Transfer, and 1 IPv4 Address.

Admin Control Panel
One of the key features of the MVPS.NET Admin Control Panel is the User Account Control (UAC) settings. This security feature requires an administrator’s approval before installing programs and changing the system settings. You can access the UAC settings in several ways, one of which is through the Control Panel under “System and Security -> Change User Account Control Settings.”
Another important feature is the Private Network configuration. MVPS.NET supports private networks for all their servers, with a private network created for each customer and the data centers they provide. To configure the private network, you must first enable it on the VPS details page.
The Admin Control Panel also allows you to configure the IP addresses for your private network2. You can use any private IP subnet from the IANA Private IPv4 ranges (10.0.0.0/8, 172.16.0.0/12, or 192.168.0.0/16). Once you’ve chosen your subnet, you can assign IP addresses to your servers.
You can configure the private network on Windows by going to Control Panel -> Network and Internet -> View network status and tasks -> Change adapter settings. You can select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) from there and enter your IP address and subnet mask.

MVPS.NET has implemented a system that supports automated card payments. This feature was added in response to numerous customer requests. With this system, the default card option creates a recurring payment profile. Your card will be automatically charged for each new invoice issued for your specific VPS.
However, if you prefer not to use this option, don’t worry! MVPS.NET has retained the one-time payment option. This option is available on the payment page under “One-time Card Payment.” So, you can choose between automatic recurring payments or one-time payments.

In addition to their regular support hours, they have staff on-site 24/7 to ensure that their infrastructure works flawlessly. This means that even if you encounter a problem outside their regular support hours, there’s always someone available to help.
Their support team is known for being quick to respond, friendly, and knowledgeable. They go above and beyond to assist customers with any issues and provide clear instructions on resolving them.
Conclusion
In our Basic Benchmark tests, the I/O speed averaged a disappointing 10.5 MB/s, well below the 200 MB/s threshold considered poor. However, the network performance was solid, with speeds hitting 150 Mbps for both upload and download in most test locations. Exceptions like Chongqing showed much lower speeds and higher latency, indicating inconsistent performance in certain regions.
The Yabs Performance Bench provided mixed results. The disk read/write speeds were consistently around 10 MB/s, which is underwhelming for SSD storage. These speeds fall in the low-performance category, given our good threshold is above 500 MB/s.
Geekbench 6 results were more encouraging, with a Single Core score of 752 and a Multi-Core score of 1328. These scores suggest the server’s CPU performance is standard but not exceptional, suitable for moderately demanding applications.
UnixBench further showcased the CPU’s capabilities. The server excelled in file operations and process creation tasks, reflecting high read/write speeds and efficient multiprocessing. The overall System Benchmarks Index Score of 1303.9 indicates a reliable performance in multi-threaded environments.
In conclusion, while the MVPS Ireland Dublin High-Performance Cloud KVM VPS Server shows robust network performance and reasonable CPU scores, its storage I/O speed is significantly lacking. This makes it less ideal for I/O-intensive tasks but a viable choice for network-centric applications and moderate computational workloads.
