DEAC Lithuania Vilnius Regular Performance Cloud Virtual Machine Test and Review
We recently tested the DEAC Lithuania Vilnius Regular Performance Cloud Virtual Machine (Plan: 29.04 EUR/mo). The server uses a Common KVM processor with the following specs: 2 CPU cores, 4 GB RAM, 80 GB SSD storage, 1 Gbps internet port, 20 TB traffic, and 1 IPv4 address.
Our review covers several tests: Basic Benchmark, Yabs, and Unix Benchmark for performance, Global Node Test for network speeds from different locations, and Global Ping Test for latency. Conclusion
The server showed excellent I/O speeds in our Basic Benchmark tests, averaging 1297.1 MB/s. The upload and download speeds were impressive, too, with the highest recorded at 2175.59 Mbps for upload and 3250.71 Mbps for download. Latency was low, especially in local tests, with 6.94 ms on Speedtest.net.
The Yabs performance test confirmed strong disk speeds. For mixed read/write operations, the server achieved 44.41 MB/s with 4k blocks and 662.29 MB/s with 64k blocks. Larger block sizes saw even better performance, with read speeds reaching up to 1.97 GB/s and write speeds up to 2.10 GB/s.
Geekbench 6 results showed a solid performance with a single-core score of 748 and a multi-core score of 1360, indicating good overall capability for handling multiple tasks. UnixBench demonstrated the server’s strength, especially in file copy and shell script execution, achieving a System Benchmarks Index Score of 1719.6 in a dual CPU test.
In conclusion, the DEAC Lithuania Vilnius Regular Performance Cloud VM offers excellent I/O speeds, strong network performance, and reliable CPU benchmarks. This makes it a solid choice for users needing robust performance and high-speed connectivity.
