Admin Control Panel
UpCloud’s admin control dashboard is a powerful tool that allows you to manage your servers easily. It provides a user-friendly interface that simplifies navigating and controlling your cloud infrastructure.
One of the key features of the dashboard is the ability to manage servers. You can create, delete, and modify servers directly from the dashboard. This gives you full control over your cloud infrastructure and allows you to make changes quickly.
The dashboard also provides access to UpCloud’s API. This API lets you manage various aspects of your account, including pricing, zones, time zones, plans, storage, IP addresses, firewalls, and tags. You can create a sub-account specifically for API access, adding extra security.
UpCloud’s dashboard also integrates with third-party tools like RunCloud. With RunCloud, you can set up a server in UpCloud directly from the RunCloud dashboard. This integration simplifies server management and allows you to manage multiple servers and web applications easily.
In addition to these features, the dashboard also provides detailed analytics and reports. These insights can help you monitor usage, track spending, and optimize your cloud infrastructure.
Server Pricing
UpCloud offers flexible pricing options, starting from €7.00 per month for Public Cloud. They also provide Private Cloud starting at €2,449.00 per month, Managed Databases starting at €30.00 per month, and Managed Kubernetes starting at €30.00 per month. This flexibility allows businesses of all sizes to leverage their services.
Official Website: https://www.UpCloud.com
Payments
UpCloud offers a variety of payment options to cater to the diverse needs of its customers. You can pay for their services using credit cards, including Visa and MasterCard. They also accept PayPal, which is a convenient option for many users. For those who prefer traditional methods, bank transfers are also available.
One of the standout features of UpCloud’s payment system is its flexibility. They operate on a Pay-as-You-Go model, which means you only pay for the resources you consume. This model is particularly beneficial for businesses with fluctuating resource needs, as it allows them to scale their costs in line with their usage.
Invoices for the services used in any given month are issued at the start of the following month. If you have funds available in your UpCloud account, the invoice will be paid using those funds. The remaining amount will be billed to your registered credit card if insufficient funds are available for the invoice.
UpCloud also offers a 30-day money-back guarantee from the first payment. This shows their confidence in their services and provides peace of mind for new users.

Conclusion
The server’s I/O speed averaged 385.3 MB/s for the basic benchmarks, falling into the standard performance range. The network tests revealed impressive results: Download and upload speeds were high across various locations, notably peaking in Dallas at over 2 Gbps for upload and around 1.16 Gbps for download. Latency was generally low, ensuring swift data transfer times. This performance suggests the server is well-suited for applications requiring steady bandwidth and moderate I/O activities.
The YABS performance benchmarks provided a detailed snapshot of the server’s storage capabilities. Mixed read/write tests showed decent results, especially in the higher block size configurations, with speeds consistently above 600 MB/s. Such performance rates suit mid-range applications but might struggle under heavy I/O-intensive tasks.
In the Geekbench 6 benchmark tests, the server scored impressively. Single-core and multi-core scores of 1223 and 2169, respectively, categorize this server as performing excellently, indicating high efficiency in handling concurrent processes and computational tasks. The UnixBench further certified this, presenting notable index scores, especially when executing multiple parallel copies of tests. These results suggest robust CPU performance that accommodates intensive tasks and multiple users.
In conclusion, the UpCloud General Purpose Cloud Server demonstrates a reliable overall performance, with network speed and CPU processing power strengths. Though its I/O performance is standard, it excels in computational tasks and network throughput, making it a solid choice for businesses with moderate to high processing demands and significant network usage.
