We recently tested the OneProvider Romania Bucharest General Purpose Instance, featuring an AMD EPYC Processor with 2 CPU cores, 4 GB of RAM, and 20 GB of SSD storage. It also includes a 1 Gbps Internet port, 3 TB of traffic, and one IPv4 address.

Conclusion

In the Basic Benchmark, our I/O speed tests showed an average of 235.7 MB/s, which is good. Upload speeds reached 892.38 Mbps, and download speeds peaked at 927.13 Mbps, demonstrating robust network performance. Latency varied significantly across different locations, with the lowest in Speedtest.net at 0.38 ms and the highest in Chongqing, China, at 404.80 ms.

The Yabs Performance Bench revealed mixed read/write speeds. For smaller block sizes (4k and 64k), the server provided a combined throughput of 124.37 MB/s and 461.36 MB/s, respectively. For larger blocks (512k and 1m), read/write operations reached around 468.68 MB/s and 452.41 MB/s.

In the Geekbench 6 Benchmark Test, the server scored 926 for single-core performance and 1641 for multi-core performance, landing in the standard range for both metrics. Using UnixBench, the server achieved a System Benchmarks Index Score of 777.7 with one parallel test and 1352.1 with two parallel tests, showing solid performance under varying loads.
