Our I/O speed tests revealed average outcomes with readings like 247 MB/s in the first run and dropping to 228 MB/s in another, averaging 249 MB/s, which falls into the lower performance segment. The network performance, however, showcased stronger numbers, with upload speeds peaking at 848.73 Mbps in Los Angeles and download speeds varying widely from 0.17 Mbps in Hong Kong to 606.92 Mbps in Dallas. The latency was best near the server’s local nodes at around 1.80 ms but escalated significantly with farther nodes, reaching up to 269.86 ms in Mumbai.
The disk speed tests conducted with Yabs presented a mixed bag. We observed strong performance in larger block sizes where the server achieved up to 1.68 GB/s in combined read/write operations for 64k blocks and impressively reached up to 2.22 GB/s for 1m blocks. The Geekbench and UnixBench scores illustrated decent CPU performance with results like 667 in single-core and 1077 in multi-core, indicating that the server can handle moderate to demanding processing tasks.
