We recently tested the MVPS Sweden Stockholm High-Performance Cloud KVM VPS server, powered by an Intel(R) Xeon(R) Gold 6148 CPU. It’s a setup that includes 2 CPU cores, 4 GB of RAM, 50 GB NVMe SSD storage, a 150 Mbps internet link, 5 TB of data transfer, and a single IPv4 address. Our tests aimed to evaluate its performance across various benchmarks, focusing on storage, internet speed, and overall computing power.

MVPS, a Cyprus-based company founded in 2018, has carved a niche by specializing in Virtual Private Server (VPS) plans. MVPS offers four VPS plans, allowing customers to choose their preferred operating system and server location at purchase. The plans are competitively priced, and while they don’t come with free domain and SSL that you would typically get with shared web hosting, the features offered make the prices worthwhile.
One of the standout features of MVPS is its uptime. With a 99.98% uptime, MVPS ensures that your website is always accessible to your visitors. This is crucial for any website owner, as downtime can lead to lost visitors and revenue.

This demonstrates a robust ability to handle concurrent processes efficiently. However, this contrasted with the server’s basic disk speed and CPU benchmark tests, underlining a mixed performance profile.
In conclusion, while the MVPS Sweden Stockholm server boasts impressive internet speed capabilities and can efficiently manage simultaneous processes, its storage speed significantly lags. The CPU’s performance, though acceptable, doesn’t quite hit the high marks expected of a “high-performance” offering. Users prioritizing network performance and parallel processing might find value here, but those with intensive I/O requirements might need to look elsewhere.
