Vicetemple Netherlands Amsterdam Offshore Adult VPS Test and Review
Big thanks to the team and Marina at Vicetemple! We’re excited to try out Vicetemple’s VPS. We’re diving into their Netherlands Amsterdam Offshore Adult VPS Server this time. This server comes equipped with an Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2640 v4 @ 2.40GHz Processor and features 1 Core CPU, 1 GB RAM, 10 GB SSD Storage, a 100 Mbps Internet Port, unlimited TB Traffic, and a single IPv4 Address.
For our review, we’ll run a bunch of tests. We’ve lined up the Basic Benchmark, Yabs, and Unix Benchmark to check performance, the Global Node Test to see how fast it connects from different places, and the Global Ping Test to measure response times.
We’re also looking at media accessibility through The Media Unlock Test, testing connection quality with the CloudFlare Internet Test, and evaluating website performance with tools like PageSpeed Insights and GTmetrix.

Conclusion
First off, the I/O speed tests showed us some great numbers. With readings averaging 584.7 MB/s across multiple runs, this server can handle data-intensive operations well. When we checked how it performs around the globe, the server kept up, boasting solid upload and download speeds in various locations, though we noticed it struggled a bit in Shanghai and Tokyo with lower download speeds.
Our mixed read/write disk speed tests improved things with impressive results. Speeds hovered around 350 MB/s for larger blocks, showing the server’s robust storage capabilities. However, when we put the server up against the Geekbench test, we hit a snag due to low memory, which suggests adding more RAM or tweaking settings for better compatibility.
The UnixBench scores painted a vivid picture of this server’s CPU performance. With a System Benchmarks Index Score of 760.8, it was evident that the server’s processing power was more than adequate for demanding tasks. This score is a promising sign for users needing reliable performance under load.
In conclusion, Vicetemple’s VPS server in Amsterdam shines with excellent I/O speeds and strong global connectivity. While it excels in storage and CPU power, the memory issue during the Geekbench test reminds us there’s room for improvement. With a bit more memory, this server could easily become the go-to choice for anyone requiring a high-performance hosting solution.
