This time, we will test the iWebFusion United States Charlotte iCloudFusion KVM Cloud Server. The server is powered by Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2690 v3 @ 2.60GHz/126GB DDR4 RAM/2.7 TB Ceph redundant storage/150TB multi-homed bandwidth @ 10GigE/5x IPv4 + /64 IPv6 address.

For our review, we’re running a bunch of tests:

  • Basic Benchmark, Yabs, and Unix Benchmark to see how the server performs on standard tasks.
  • Global Node Test checks how well it connects with networks around the world.
  • Global Ping Test measures how quickly it responds to requests.

Conclusion

In our Basic Bench test focusing on input/output (I/O) operations and network speeds, the server impressively handled data with an average I/O speed of 179.0 MB/s. It also showed it could quickly move large amounts of data across various global locations, though with varying download and upload speeds—highlighting blazing-fast connectivity in some areas while being significantly slower in others, like Chongqing and Hongkong, China.

Drilling down into disk performance with Yabs, we saw a mix of read and write operations ranging from hundreds of KB/s in the smaller 4k block tests to up to nearly 100 MB/s in the 1m block tests, demonstrating the server’s ability to handle data at different scales. Geekbench 6 scores provided a snapshot of the server’s computing power, yielding high marks in single and multi-core tests.

The UnixBench scores further revealed the server’s CPU performance across multiple tasks, from computing millions of operations per second to handling significant file management commands while maintaining robust throughput and efficient process creation.
