Bite Latvia Riga Intel Xeon Gold 6248R Cloud Virtual Server Test and Review
We recently reviewed the Bite cloud server based in Latvia, which runs on an Intel Xeon Gold 6248R processor at 3.00GHz. The server’s specs include a quad-core CPU, 8GB of memory, 100GB of SSD storage, a high-speed 1Gbps internet connection, and one IPv4 address.
Our examination included a range of tests: We started with basic benchmarks to gauge overall performance, used Yabs and Unix Benchmark to measure fundamental aspects, and ran network tests checking for speed across different locations.
We also tested how well it connected globally and assessed how quickly it responded to pings. Additional tests checked how well it could access regional content and its connection quality when using CloudFlare. To round it off, we looked into web performance using tools like PageSpeed Insights and GTmetrix.
