Conclusion
Performance testing started with Basic Bench, examining the Input/Output (I/O) and network speeds. The I/O speeds varied across three runs, averaging out to 87.2 MB/s. Network speed tests showed impressive upload and download speeds across various cities, with low latency in European locations and higher latency in Asian cities.
The Yabs Performance Bench dug into mixed read/write operations, showing consistent transfer speeds across different block sizes, while Geekbench revealed solid single and multi-core performance. Additionally, UnixBench scores, which indicate CPU capabilities, gave us high scores when running a single instance and when all cores were engaged.
To sum it up, the VPS from Retslav showed it’s a strong competitor in the hosting market. It performed well in both disk speed and CPU performance, with varying results globally that still held up in non-European regions.
