Katapult United States New York AMD EPYC-Rome CPU Optimized Cloud Server Test and Review

Katapult United States New York AMD EPYC-Rome CPU Optimized Cloud Server Test and Review

We recently tested the Katapult United States New York CPU Optimized Cloud Server, running on a robust AMD EPYC-Rome Processor. This machine is stacked with impressive specs: a 32-core CPU, 96 GB of RAM, 800 GB SSD storage, and a 10 Gbps internet port, complemented by generous data allowances, including 10 TB of traffic, alongside both an IPv4 and IPv6 address.

For our review, we ran many tests to see how it performs. We used the Basic Benchmark, Yabs, and Unix Benchmark to check out the basic stats. To look at network performance, we did the Global Node Test for a wide view and the Global Ping Test to check how fast it responds.

We also checked if you can stream media easily with the Media Unlock Test and tested connection quality with the CloudFlare Internet Test. For how well websites run on this server, we used PageSpeed Insights and GTmetrix Performance.
