Kuroit Japan Tokyo AMD Ryzen 9 3900X High Performance KVM VPS Server Test and Review
We recently checked out the Kuroit Japan Tokyo VPS, a super-fast server. It’s got a beefy AMD Ryzen 9 processor with 2 cores, 4 GB RAM, 50 GB of fast SSD storage, and can handle 3 TB of data transfer at blazing speeds of up to 1 Gbps. It also comes with both an IPv4 and an IPv6 address.
Our team ran common benchmarking tools to see how it perform, like Yabs and Unix Benchmark for the basics. To check the network, we did a Global Node Test and pinged it from different places to test the response time.
We also checked if it can stream media from various regions and how it holds up under CloudFlare’s internet conditions, and we also measured the loading speed of websites with tools like PageSpeed Insights and GTmetrix to wrap up the performance review.

Conclusion
The Basic Bench tests found that input/output (I/O) speeds were solid, averaging 686.7 MB/s over three runs. We also looked at how fast it could send (upload) and receive (download) data, with impressive speeds near 900 Mbps in many locations worldwide. However, there were some spots, particularly in China, where the performance dipped significantly. In the fastest case, our server responded in just 0.37 ms, while the slowest response was over 250 ms.
The Yabs Performance Bench showed remarkable mixed read/write speeds, peaking at 5.11 GB/s when dealing with larger files. As for CPU performance, the UnixBench scores were through the roof, with the server performing well above the baseline across various tests, including file copying, processing, and script execution. When we ran tests in parallel, the scores almost doubled, indicating great handling under simultaneous loads.
In summary, the Kuroit Japan Tokyo VPS was a powerhouse, easily crushing most of the benchmarks. This performance suggests a reliable choice for heavy-duty tasks like hosting busy websites or running intensive applications.
