Kuroit Netherlands Amsterdam Intel Xeon E5-2690 High Performance KVM VPS Server Test and Review
We recently tested the Kuroit Netherlands Amsterdam VPS server to evaluate its performance and capabilities. The server boasts a solid Intel Xeon E5-2690 v4 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 50GB of SSD storage. It’s equipped with a 1Gbps internet connection and up to 3TB of data transfer, providing a unique IPv4 address for connectivity.
Here’s a rundown of our tests: We started with basic benchmarking to see how well the server performs, including Yabs and Unix Benchmark, which measure important things like speed and data processing. We then examined how it connects to networks worldwide using a global node test and checked how quickly it communicates with a ping test.
We used the Media Unlock Test to check whether you can access content from different locations and the Cloudflare test to determine the internet connection quality. Lastly, we checked how fast web pages load with PageSpeed Insights and GTmetrix tools.

Conclusion
In our Basic Bench test, we recorded impressive I/O speeds, averaging 412.7 MB/s over three runs. Network performance was also high, with upload speeds reaching up to 1007.51 Mbps in Paris and download speeds averaging over 800 Mbps in multiple locations, despite higher latency in regions like Tokyo and Singapore. The server’s input/output operations per second (IOPS) performance was equally strong across various file sizes, with especially high speeds noted in the Yabs disk speed test.
In CPU performance, the server showed excellent processing power on UnixBench, yielding a high index score of 1631.5 when running two parallel copies of tests, indicating that it can handle multiple tasks effectively. Moreover, the Media Unlock Test revealed accessibility to various multimedia services, but with some regional restrictions on services like Netflix, Disney+, and Spotify.
