cloudscale.ch Switzerland Lupfig AMD EPYC Dedicated Cores Swiss Cloud Server Test and Review
We recently checked out the cloudscale.ch Swiss server in Lupfig, which focuses on offering dedicated power for your needs. This server is equipped with an advanced AMD processor, and here’s what’s under the hood: it has 2 CPU cores, 4 GB of memory, 50 GB of fast SSD storage, and a speedy 10 Gb/s internet connection. Plus, it comes with one IPv4 and one IPv6 address.
To measure the core performance stats, these tests started with basic benchmarks, including Yabs and Unix Benchmark. Then, to gauge the server’s network capabilities, we used the Global Node Test for a deep dive into the network and the Global Ping Test to see how fast it responds.
We ran the Media Unlock Test to check if the server can access content worldwide. We tested internet connection quality with the CloudFlare Internet Test, and to see how well websites would run, we used PageSpeed Insights and GTmetrix Performance tests.

Conclusion
The server showed great performance, with fast and steady speeds averaging 847 MB/s in several tests. It nailed the networking tests using Speedtest and connections to servers worldwide.
It excelled in upload and download speeds on Speedtest.net, boasting an impressively low delay of just 0.91 milliseconds, though speeds did vary in different places. Close to Switzerland, connections were the fastest, but they slowed as the distance grew.
In the Yabs Performance test, the server handled small and large data chunks swiftly, especially notable with bigger blocks of data where speeds soared past 4 GB/s. Geekbench results were solid, with scores of 1421 for single-core and 2576 for multi-core operations.
UNIXBench results showed the server does well both on its own and when handling multiple tasks simultaneously, with a marked improvement in performance for dual operations.
Overall, the cloudscale.ch server in Lupfig, Switzerland, stands out for local and international online performance. It’s dependable for processing data quickly and scores well on benchmarks, showing it’s up for various jobs.
It also did well in tests for regional content access, making it a great choice for those needing high-performance hosting with good connections to Switzerland and Europe.
