Aéza Netherlands Amsterdam Shared AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D anti-DDoS VPS Test and Review
We recently checked out the aéza Netherlands Amsterdam shared server with a virtual CPU setup. This server runs on an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D with 16 cores. It’s got a generous 32 GB of RAM, a 480 GB SSD for storage, and a fast 1 Gbps net connection. There’s no limit on data transfer; it comes with one IPv4 and one IPv6 address.
Here’s how we put it to the test:
- We started with basic tests, like Yabs and Unix Benchmark, to see how it handles standard tasks.
- We used the Global Node Test and checked ping times with the Global Ping Test for network quality.
- We also ensured it can stream media from different regions by running a Media Unlock Test.
- To gauge internet connection quality, we ran the CloudFlare Internet Test.
- And we didn’t forget web performance — we used tools like PageSpeed Insights and GTmetrix to measure that.
About aéza
Aéza is a modern cloud hosting provider making waves in the industry. They specialize in providing cloud VPS/VDS servers for rent. Their approach to pricing is revolutionary, offering 1 vCPU / 8 GB RAM for a very competitive price. This makes them an attractive option for affordable yet powerful hosting solutions.
One of the standout features of Aéza is their use of top-of-the-line AMD Threadripper 3990X processors. These processors offer high frequencies up to 4.3 GHz, ensuring your hosted services run smoothly and efficiently. They also offer dedicated and influential high-cpu servers catering to various hosting needs.
Aéza prides itself on its modern equipment and fast communication channels. They understand the importance of reliable and fast hosting services in today’s digital age. Their technical support team is always ready to help with installation and other advice, ensuring you have the support you need when needed.
However, like any hosting provider, Aéza has had mixed reviews. Some customers have had positive experiences with VPS services and technical support, while others have reported issues. Researching and reading reviews from multiple sources is always a good idea before deciding on a hosting provider.
Aéza also offers several additional services, such as domain registration and web-protection. These services can help increase the security of your websites at a democratic price. They also have a Bug Bounty program, offering rewards for vulnerabilities found.
In terms of hardware, Aéza uses state-of-the-art equipment. Their cloud servers run on top processors like the AMD Threadripper 3990X and AMD Ryzen 9 5950X. Each node is connected to the Internet at a speed of at least 2×10Gbps and directly connects to the largest providers.

Payments
Aéza offers a flexible payment system that caters to the needs of its users. They provide an hourly rate for their services, starting from as low as €0.02 per hour. This allows you to pay for only the time you use their services, making it a cost-effective solution for many users.
If you pay for a longer period, such as 3 to 12 months, Aéza offers discounts of 5-12% of the tariff cost. This can be a great way to save money if you use their services for an extended period.
The payment process is automated, and all services are activated automatically within a minute. If you no longer need the server, you can easily delete it and order another one in one click. This makes managing your hosting services with Aéza convenient and hassle-free.
However, I couldn’t find specific information about the payment methods accepted by Aéza. It’s always good to check with the provider for the most accurate and up-to-date information. They should be able to provide detailed information about their accepted payment methods and any additional fees that may apply.
Customer Support
Aéza’s customer support is one of their standout features. They have a dedicated technical support team ready to help with installation and other advice. This ensures that you have the support you need when you need it.
Their customer support team is available 24/7, assisting and resolving issues any time of the day or night. This is particularly beneficial for businesses that operate around the clock, as they can rest assured knowing that help is always just a call or click away.
In addition to its technical support, Aéza provides a comprehensive knowledge base on its website. This includes a variety of resources such as guides, tutorials, and FAQs to help users navigate their services. This self-help approach allows users to find answers to their questions quickly and easily.
Conclusion
In our testing adventure, we used a variety of benchmarks to measure its muscle. The server showed off its speed in our first set of tests, with I/O speeds hitting up to 1.9 GB/s on repeated runs and averaging a swift 1561.7 MB/s. Network speed tests showed upload speeds cruising up to 851.36 Mbps, and the latency was pretty swift, except for more distant locations like Singapore, which naturally took a bit longer at 321.76 ms.
In mixed-read/write tasks evaluated by Yabs, the server didn’t sweat, hammering out up to 6.70 GB/s with larger file operations. Geekbench scores highlighted the server’s raw processing power, marking high numbers, especially in the multi-core department, with a score of 14319. Likewise, UnixBench awarded this server a stellar rating, showcasing exceptional capability across CPU, file system efficiencies, and system processes.
Multimedia content accessibility tests support the server’s real-world capabilities. It performed well in multiple regions, offering access to Dazn and YouTube Premium in Europe. While Netflix was limited to original content, some services like Hotstar and Disney+ were unavailable. This shows region-specific limitations for certain content streaming services.
The aéza Netherlands Amsterdam server delivers strong performance across the board, highlighted by its powerful CPU and ample storage and RAM. While it serves up data quickly and handles tasks with ease, access to certain media services may vary based on your location. It’s a reliable option for those needing a robust shared virtual server solution in Europe, balancing speed, capacity, and data transfer capabilities well.
