Our recent test of HostHatch‘s high-speed cloud servers in Hong Kong showed impressive results. Powered by an AMD EPYC 7513 processor with 16 cores, the server has 96 GB RAM and 250 GB of fast SSD storage. It features a 10 Gbps connection with 10 TB data transfer capacity and an IPv4 address.

HostHatch offers a variety of payment options for its services. Customers can pay with major credit/debit cards and PayPal. This flexibility makes it easy for customers to choose the payment method that is most convenient for them.

HostHatch invoices its customers for fees and expenses monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually. Payment for recurring services is due immediately upon the invoice date. If an invoice remains unpaid two days after it is due, the associated services are suspended, and after 5 days, the services are terminated. Any data stored on the service is completely wiped.

Also, some users have reported that the response times can be quite long, and you are expected to possess some technical knowledge, so assistance with setting up programs may be limited unless the issues are related to the server.

Conclusion

Looking at disk performance, the servers maintained a consistent I/O speed averaging around 1262.9 MB/s, demonstrating reliable data transfer capabilities both within the server and to external destinations. Additionally, benchmarking with Geekbench and UnixBench illustrated the server’s impressive computing performance, with high scores across various CPU-intensive simulations, making it a compelling choice for computational tasks.

Assessing the capability for regional content access, the server had some limitations. It allowed streaming from popular services like Amazon Prime Video and YouTube Premium from the Hong Kong region. Still, restrictions were noted for services like Netflix, offering only Originals and no access to HotStar or Disney+.
