Conclusion
Regarding basic performance metrics, the I/O speed tests showed results hovering around 200 MB/s, which sits right between poor and good performance. The upload and download speeds were significantly impressive, especially within the Mumbai region, where the server reached speeds of 6923.64 Mbps for uploads and 6583.29 Mbps for downloads, indicating excellent network capabilities.
The Yabs performance bench revealed a mixed bag in disk performance, with read and write speeds showing good performance for larger block sizes. However, when inspecting the performance with smaller block sizes, speeds were much less impressive. The Geekbench 6 Benchmark Test yielded a single-core score of 1310 and a multi-core score of 2358, indicating good CPU performance, slightly above standard expectations.
The UnixBench test results showcased exemplary CPU performance, with the system’s overall index score in a single-copy test at 1081.3 and a staggering 1945.1 in a multicopy test. These scores reflect extremely high performance, suggesting that the server can handle a significant workload efficiently.
In conclusion, the Gcore India Mumbai Unlimited Traffic Standard Cloud VPS Server demonstrates robust capabilities, particularly in network performance. While the I/O speed barely crosses the threshold into the “good” category, both the Geekbench and UnixBench scores reflect a server well-suited to various tasks, standing out especially in processing power and network efficiency. This makes it a solid option for businesses or applications looking to leverage high-performance computing resources in the region.
