99Stack North America Mexico City Intel Xeon Processor Standard Instance Test and Review
We’re now examining the 99Stack VPS server based in Mexico City, North America. This server – running on an Intel Xeon Processor – bears the name “Cascadelake.” Its impressive specs include 2 CPU cores, 4GB RAM, 80GB SSD storage, and a 1 Gbps internet port. Regarding connectivity, it has a traffic limit of 3 Terabytes and one IPv4 and one IPv6 address each.
About 99Stack
99Stack Cloud is a decentralized cloud service provider that prioritizes privacy and offers a wide range of services. It was established in early 2016 in Värmland, Sweden. The platform is powered by a fully independent data center operator network, allowing users to manage their public cloud resources through a unified user interface. This approach helps to avoid vendor lock-in and centralized dependencies.
One of the key features of 99Stack Cloud is its commitment to privacy. The company collects only the minimum personal information required to establish a contract. Users can top up their balance with any major cryptocurrency, including privacy coins.
99Stack Cloud offers enterprise-grade infrastructure at a fraction of the cost compared to Big Tech clouds. It follows a pay-as-you-go billing structure, which means users are billed hourly and pay only for what they use. This makes it an affordable option for businesses of all sizes.
The platform provides SSD VPS, cloud servers, and cloud hosting services. All services are powered by KVM virtualization, which is tweaked for performance and kept simple to ensure security, redundancy, and maximum performance.
In addition to traditional cloud resources, 99Stack Cloud offers object storage instances. These are optimized for storing unstructured files and data. They are fully S3 compatible, fully scalable, and powered by the Min.io open-source object storage engine.

Conclusion
We started with some raw performance checks. The Basic Benchmark test, which checks the speed of data reading and writing, was impressive, with results averaging around 1.3 GB/s. Our Global Node Test revealed quick upload and download speeds to most locations, with expected higher latency to far-off regions like Mumbai, India, and Guangzhou, China.
The Yabs Performance Bench, a test examining how well the server deals with a mixture of reading and writing tasks, showed stellar results. With read/write speed exceeding 1 GB/s for most block sizes, the server demonstrated it can handle hefty data operations.
We then moved to a more intensive CPU performance check using the UnixBench test. This evaluates several components, like the speed of computation and the efficiency of various operations. High scores in the Dhrystone and Whetstone tests, which measure general CPU performance, stood out. The results indicated that the server’s CPUs can handle high volumes of operations, making it suitable for complex, demanding tasks.
